Holley has lived on the small island of Deer Isle, Maine since 1977, where she has been inspired by the land and seascapes for her sewn fabric appliqué quilts, pillows and wall hangings.
The constant changing colors from the seasons, light and weather creates an ever interesting palette. She likes to capture the feeling of a place with cloth; an outrageous sunset or a quiet, cool misty morning or how a crow would feel flying in a sky full of stars.
